Can someone id this wrasse

i was given this wrasse and would like to know if someone can tell me if this is a female esquisite wrasse( thats what i was told it was), i have never seen a female esquisit wrasse only a male. any hel woud be appreciated

Many of the female fairy wrasses (of which the exquisite fairy is one) look very similar. The nose shape in the first is a little more elongated than some of the fairy's that I've seen, but without a better pic it's really hard to tell what she might be. Even with a great pic it can be hard with some of the females, but there are some experts here who might have a better idea. If you get a better pic you could try posting in the reef fish section for more advice!
 
It looks like a female from the lubbocki complex, either a lubbocki, adornatus or flavidorsalis female. Unfortunately the females of all three of the species look almost identical. It appears to have to much red to be a female exquisite. Beautiful fish whichever one it turns out to be.
 
female Cirrhilabrus flavidorsalis or female Cirrhilabrus adornatus.

btw, i lived in staten island for 7 years. i got my B.S from C.S.I. :wave:
