Can someone please help me..

I have a mystic sunset montipora frag (it's my first sps) that's been in the tank for a week and it's starting to bleach basically since I put it in the tank. All my other corals are doing good except some clove polyps which is weird too. so I don't know what I'm missing here. I tested everything yesterday sg1.025, ph 8.2, alk 8, cal 400, nitrates 10, phosphate 0, temp 78. I'm at a lose. I'm using ai sol as my lights which are led (settings are 35w 40b 60r) and it's about 7" over water level and the frAg I put about 3" under water level. So 10" from light. It kept bleaching more and more each day so I moved down to the sand bed yesterday and it looks worse tonight. What is going on? Do I just need to give it time or what? I'm going to do a water change tomorrow to see if that helps but I just did one a few days before I got this frag which was maybe 10 days ago. I use instant ocean. Can someone please help, I don't want to lose this frag. Oh and the tank is 4 and a half months old. Any help will be greatly appreciated cause this really sucks lol

nitrates are a high, and with LEDs you should always start your frags in low light and SLOWLY move them into their appropriate lighting positon (over the course of a few weeks works for me)

I forgot to mention the sand bed is like 12" lower than its original spot. But it still gets pretty good lighting. It's the highest lit spot in the sand bed

Dang I didn't know that. Everyone was like oh they need a lot of light so I put it in a high lit spot. It came from a tank that had LEDs too and was at the very top but I'm not sure for how long and the intensity.

Thanks for the advice. I did the water change to reduce nitrates and it started looking like it was recovering but now for the past like 3 days it has began to bleach again and now today it looks worse than it did before. i just tested everything i can, ammonia and nitrite 0, phospate 0, nitrates are 0, calcium 420, alk 9, ph 8.3. the spot its been in for the past 2 weeks is shaded slightly, do you think its not getting enough light now? should i move it or should i consider buying mag test kit or something? im still new at this so i really dont know what to do from here. any advice will help thanks again guys.
