Can they live with a light off

I just bought some zoanthids for my 3 gallon nano tank and I was wondering if u can shut off the LED light over night (about 10 hours) so that there's not a lot of algae growth.
Can zoanthids go without lights for about 10-11 hours?

Yes they will be fine. But do you mean shutting off the light at night (normal) or during the day (to combat algae)? They will be fine either way.

Yea, are you running the lights 24/7 right now? Because there should be time with lights off, overnight typically.

My tank has about 14 hours of complete darkness every day. You should at least have a period every day with complete darkness just for the light cycle, say 4 hours or so. Then some people do total dark outs for 3 days or so where they let no light at all get in the tank by covering it. This will kill algae but corals can tolerate it.
