Can you add coral too fast?

I know that Coral(s) are basically filters, however can you add too much coral too soon?

I just added (1) false percula (that's the only fish I have) on Saturday and added some GSP and about 5 mushrooms to my tank last Thursday. I'm thinking about adding a few rock frags of zoos (probably a total of 30-50 (small sized) w/ a few palythoas attached) and maybe a small frag of a frogspawn.

Let me know if this is too much too soon because the last thing I want to happen is overload my tank and have it cycle again.

I believe alot depends on how old the tank is and how your water params are. If I remember, I waited 3 months to add fish and about 6-7 months to add zoos, and over a year for sps.

corals don't put hardly any bioload on a system so it is fine to add 5-10 corals to a tank at once. as long as the tanks parameters are stabe from the biginning

This is the concensus that I'm getting on other boards as well. I'll be adding about 30-50 Zoos and a few mushrooms tomorrow! :)

Wish me luck! :eek1: :mixed:
