I was just wondering because I know many other types of corals can be fragged.
Can you frag a plate coral ???

Ive seen frags of the fungi f/s lately online but not the long tentacle. I think they just cut it in 4's like a pizza.
Mine use to die and then babies would pop up all the time but I never tried to frag it. They are delicate and I personally wouldnt buy a frag unless it's healed.

Don't try fragging one unless you are very well educated on how they reproduce. You will probably kill it otherwise.

fraggin is easy....
you might kill it......
i did this with a dremel....
you are going to need a dremel (cool cheap tool anyway......)
only one of the pieces have bleached out (aka "died") that being said however, one of the ways people propagate plates is bleaching them under intense halides, making the skeletons, and then moving them back to the bottom where they "usually" pop out baby plates.......
this is was bought like this, for like 5 dollers, this is a long tent plate which might not do like the short plates (which sound alot more resielent)
the only way you would be in trouble is if it got brown jelly, then you are f@cked.......

oh ands its ok if they dont have a "mouth" on the frag........
as long as their tenticles shoot up, its eating.....(i think)
