Can you keep any kind of starfish or brittle stars with clams? If so, what are some good candidates? What about conchs? Any particularly good snails you can keep with them?

I have a very large green brittle star with a Squamosa and a crocea. No problems yet, other than it steals food from coral.

I have heard that it is possible for a serpent star or brittle star to bore into a clam from the bottom and kill it if the star it starving. But i've have both in my tank for well over a year with clams and they have not bothered them one bit. I'd say go for it, I also have a orange and a blue linkia in my tank. Very beautiful starfish and completely reef safe. Goodluck with your choice.

I have never heard of any issues with serpent stars and clams, and have had both in the same tank multiple times.
