Can you modify a reef octopus classic 100?

Has anyone, or do you know if a reef octopus classic 100 can be modified to fit a JBJ45? Or is it not worth it and should I just buy another skimmer that will fit out of the box?

Not sure about modifying the octopus skimmer but I also own a jbj45 AIO and I am currently using cadlight skimmer. Fits perfectly in the back chamber and does a great job. You can take a look.

If it helps, I'm also using this skimmer and am happy with it in a JBJ 45.
