Can you reuse filter socks?

Yep. I wash them with oxy bleach, let them air dry for a couple of days and they are good to go.

Nope, some people use regular chlorine bleach, which I used before. A couple days of air drying will remove the chlorine.

I have about 12 socks. I change mine out every 2-3 days. When I use my last pair, I take the old dirty ones and through them in the washing machine and put about a cup of bleach in. After the cycle is over, I run it again with no bleach and air dry.

What we do is turn them inside-out, wash them (in the washing machine) with bleach, then invert them again and run them without any bleach. The metal rings tend to rip out after awhile, but you don't really need them...and if your straps break, just cut holes and use zip ties.

Just a thought
