Hi Everyone! Hopefully someone can help with my wrasse question. I've had him for three months in my 29G biocube. Got him in the hopes that he would help with my flatworm issues. I've had this tank up for 2 years with a pair of ocellaris clowns, royal gramma and a yellow watchman. Also have three hermits, three turbo's and a cleaner shrimp. I've got 0 nitrate, 0 phosphate, 0 amonia, ph 8.3. Temp is 80 calcium a little low right now at 400. I've got hard and soft corals. OK my question is the wrasse didn't "get up" as usual on Sat, though he came out later - but then hid again. I saw him this morning and he was right on top of the sand - didn't move when I came over to look at him either. Now he's probably buried again. Does this sound like a sick fish?? The only thing I've added was a new mushroom colony two weeks ago. I feed mysis or brine shrimp once every three days, as I have been for the whole 2 years I've had any livestock and everyone seems happy - I haven't lost a fish or livestock ever (except for my modern coral eating a fireshrimp's tail once before I could get him out). Could he have been stung by a coral? Or could I have starved him?? The other fish are fine? He never ate the flatworms.. Or could this be some kind of normal behavior?? Thanks for any help.
