Candy apple reds

I recently ordered a frag of candy apple reds online and was just wondering if anyone else has a frag of these for comparison because the frag I got seems to be very different from the candy apple reds pictures that I have found on the web, I like mine better than the pics I have seen online, but they are just red polyps and the ones I have seen have a green center with a red outer ring, is this what other people have???

that's what I have found online and mine look nothing like that, mine are just a bright red with red skirts

They may color up with time. What are your tank parameters and what are you running for lights? Did you buy them from a person or an onlne retailer?

mine look just like jonny's, but not quite as vivid. skirts are a little dull

Everytime I buy zoas they look different from what they looked like in the store. IMO zoa coloring is a crap shoot. Even when the lighting is supposedly the same.
