I seem to remember a thread on here a while back on these fish. I usually get a little bonus in March from work and thinking of blowing some of it on one. Just trying to do some DD before spending $900 on a fish. Any replies from anyone with experience would be appreciated.

Mine is a wonderful reef fish. Gorgeous, eats well, and no aggression.

They are stunning fish. I have had mine for about a year, and I can say that he is one of my favorites. Very peaceful and eats like a pig.

BTW, pictures do these fish no justice.

I have a pair but rarely see them. They peek out of the rocks every now and again. I don't mind much though, kind of adds to the intrigue. I have lots of other fish to watch in my 480gl display. I think if you want them out all the time you have to have very docile tank mates, and probably wouldn't hurt if you don't have MH lighting. They are definitely a little less shy with the halides out.
