Candy cane coral

I just received a candy cane from a buddy and it's been in the bottom of my tank for almost 3 weeks. For some reason it hasn't opened up yet and my parameters are all normal. I have Marineland LED's for lighting and I change the flow weekly with my MP 10's. Any suggestions?

Start moving it up slowly, have you tried target feeding?

Mine don't like too much flow and they took about a week to acclimate to my light. However, mine like to be higher in the tank and if your buddy had them under strong light, they might be in need of more light.

I would say ask your buddy how his setup was and give them some time.
