Candy Cane feeding

I have a candy cane coral and recently, it isn't opening up completely. You can see the skeleton. When I had a fish in the tank, it looked great. Fish jumped out, everything in the tank went poof. Including coraline algea.

I used to feed it often because the fish was in the tank. Today I fed it mysys, and all the heads ate. Should I feed it more often?

3 gallon nano, about a year old.

thanks,

I'd feed it daily for a while and then every second or third day thereafter. They usually only open after lights out, so I turn a room light on when I feed, just so I can see what I'm doing. I target feed each head individually. You'll want to make sure you feed every head until it recovers.
