candy cane placement?

whats the best placement for my new candy cane (Caulastrea furcata)
i picked up today. the tank i got it from had it laying on the substrate.

this coral should be ok in any place i have several frags id diferent places

Very hardy LPS, start with them at the bottom as they'll happily take low light.

i put it on the sand bed. it sat there a day. i came home today and it was not there. poof, gone. so i am looking around thinking where the... could the thing be. too heavy for flow to move it. than i saw a jawfish was using it to block one entrance to his burrow. so now it lives up on the rocks a little bit!
