How much curent and light does a candy cane coral need to be happy.

My candy cane was under 440 Watts of VHO's midway up in the tank before I replaced my lighting with 2 250W 10K's. I have since moved him to the bottom of the tank to adjust to the new lighting. The coral is doing ok, however, I would suggest moderate flow and if you have halide bulbs to place midway or toward the bottom of the tank.

Thanks I have it midway in the tank and have 2 mh at 175 ea it seams ok ( Ihavent hade it for very long 2weeks) I was just wondering.

Candy canes are generally a mid light level coral. they will do fine under t5's VHO's or MH. I think generally they are placed middle to lower part of the tank
