I think this is my oldest coral being about 6 yrs old and few heads on it look like it is actually melting. I have seen it split many times and never looked like this. The main colony was sitting pretty close to some GSP and the heads that look like they are melting was pretty close to the GSP. I have since moved it further away to see if that was bothering it. Can GSP actually sting anything? I thought they were harmless. I have pics below and a picture of the GSP after I moved it away.
Levels are all the norm except my alkalinity has been low and working on raising that.
On a side note, the branches I don't know if they are getting too weak or if they are old but they have been breaking off the main colony. No big deal since I can trade them but just wondering if I have a problem. Pics below.
