Canon a620

Well instead of dumping money into filters or lenses on canon a60 i decided to go with the canon a610 instead. I've read good reviews about it here on the boards and was just looking for some example macro shots from those of you who have had the camera for awhile now.

Also is it worth the extra $50 for the a620?

Will i need additional macro lenses for close up coral shots or will it be fine in its stock form?

I saw some shots from jsbzmcdaniel with his a620 with a Raynox DC-150 that blew me away

I'm no camera buff but i'm hoping that this is the right camera for me....something that isnt too difficult to use that takes quality macro shots

Let me know what you guys think, any impressions or experiences with it will be appreciated

Yeah i read that thread and plan on getting the dcr150 eventually
do you have any sample macro pics of the camera in its stock form?

Looked at the specs of both cameras and they appear to be exactly the same except for the sensor.

what is the sensor's purpose? The difference from 5 to 7 MP would only prove helpful if you were printing out large pictures correct?

Correctomundo. Sometimes it's nice to have a bigger picture to start off with if you need to crop down to the subject, but for the most part the size of the sensor impacts the potential size of the print.
