Cap Coral ?

Hey guys, i just picked up a piece/ frag of a cap coral. It's pink and about 2inches by 2inches in size. My question is, what is the best way to place it in my tank. Can i rubberband it to a piece of liverock? Will it attatch on its own? can i superglue it? Also how can i tell if it's happy in the spot i place it. Are there any signs of good or bad behavior from them? I've got a 250MHL, so where is the best location to place it in my tank. I've got it rubberbanded to a piece of liverock right now about 3/4 way to to top of the tank....

what i would do is superglue gel it to a piece of rubble rock (if you glue it on rubble rock it will make it easier to move when need be) or on ur live rock.. (rememba it will grow big so make sure u have it in a spot were it has plenty of space to grow out) also the more light it has the quicker it grows in most situations....

what i usually do is start it off middle to middle bottom of the tank then after a week or 2 move it up a lil until its at the location u want..

how deep is the tank...

Yeah. I agree. with Tony.
Superglue is best way to attach with a piece of rubble. Midway up is best and then move up later once acclimated to light.

Make sure it is in a location where it can grow without bumping into another coral or shading another coral as it grows.

Also, make sure you maintain your calcium... Caps use up a lot of calcium especially once they get big...

The tank it is in is a 54g corner. I'm going to do my water change today and try to superglue it down and find a nice spot for it. Again are there any visable signs that is is doing good/bad????

PE (polyp extension) will be a good sign...also growth. Nice score...I don't have a pink cap, but have about every other color
