Carbon Change

How long should I be running my carbon?

I am afraid to use it too long and things leach back into the tank.

You will get a lot of conflicting answers here but as a rule of thumb, I change mine every month, all depends on your Bio-Load. I run mine 24/7

I was taught 3 days per month.

I only add it to my systems for one week (a month) and them remove it for the remaining three weeks....and repeat.
