Carbon Question
I am going to run carbon. I have a phosban reactor I plan on running it in.
I have a couple questions. First should you run it lose or in a mesh filter bag?
Also I do not see anything on the package as to how much carbon to use. Is there a formula? I am running a 75 gallon tank.

And one last question. I have heard oc chemi pure elite. Is this better than running carbon? I am using Pura phos loack as well now.

run it loose, i try and get the smaller pieces of carbon, seems to tumble better in reactor. i usually run 2 cups and change it out every other week on my 90.

mine isnt in a reactor but i use 1 1/2 cups carbon and 1/2 cup each of phosguard and denitrifier changing out once a month in my 40. i use marineland black diamond carbon and i think seachem makes the other 2 products. with me not runnin a reactor i dont know how much good i did you but the carbon is very small
