Caribsea South seas base rock that was used in freshwater?

Would it be ok to use the south seas base rock that came from an african cichlid aquarium? It will obviously be cleaned. My gut is telling me it will be fine but just wanted to check. Thanks.

Shouldn’t be an issue as long as the rock wasn’t treated with chemicals/medications (I.e copper, etc).
