I just saw you had these available. I have a 90 gallon reef tank. I noticed you recommended groups. How many would you recommend adding? 1 adult and a few juveniles?

Thanks!

You guys are great. I only wish your system would send an email each time new Diver's Den items were added :)

Livemontana,

Thank you for your post. When adding specimen to your aquarium we recommend only placing one inch of fish per gallon of water in your aquarium. To find the total amount of fish you are able to have, you will need to find the size the fish will be when at adult size and add the number of fish together. This number will then be subtracted from the size of the aquarium to find the amount of room available in the aquarium for more specimens.

It would be our recommendation to add 3 fish at a time and to watch your water parameters daily for any ammonia spike, of course this will depend on how well established your aquarium is. The females or juveniles should be introduced into the tank before the males. Other fish often harass the Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse so it should be the first species introduced into the aquarium. It is best to keep it with peaceful tank mates.

Livemontana,

Thank you for your reply. To clarify our answer about adding fish to your aquarium, we would recommend adding 3 juveniles together until you achieve the amount of juveniles you desire. You may add an adult male after all your juveniles are added. We do not have a definitive amount of adults per juvenile recommendation. The total amount of Carpenter’s Flasher Wrasse Fish housed in your aquarium may be dependent upon personal preference and how many fish are already stocked in your aquarium.

We appreciate the comment on our Divers Den items. We will be happy to forward your suggestion to our Live Aquaria Director.

It's usually updated everyday, Monday through Friday, sometime around 4:30-5:30pm CST. Being the coral addict that I am, I usually am scanning around that timeframe and that's when I start to see the new stuff pop up.

HTH,

Tony
