Ihave a large green carpet 12"or bigger Ihave had it for @ two and half weeks now I ve acclimated under screen and egg crate. MY carpet from the time i put it in the tank within 10 mins it buried its foot . after 4 days it moved @two inches and buried its foot under the live rock. mouth tighty close every sinceput in tank . {caution mind you the base and foot area was @4inch dia. they will move things !!] ok about feeding I FEED MY marrons ever other day switching from plankton to mysis shrimp the frozen cube type.[i dont know if im supposed to mention the name but im sure thousands reefers use them ] my clowns will feed the carpet but they are pigs they would rather feed themseleve then the carpet . so I pick up package of the above mention frozen large krill the carpet been doing fine eating them but the pieces seems small Ihave to thaw out @ a1"piece and there is maybe 1 full krill the rest is krill heads [i dont feed the heads].and should i put somethig like selcom on food? I VE READ they cant digest the bones in the head . I was looking into feeding silversides but now after reading silver side isnt the way to go .Iwas told if i feed silversides cut the head off . also fellow reefers are saying to try shrimp' mussel' etc . where to get these item [walmart ?] and what to ask for . And here are parms of my tank / 90 gallon aga with overflow . tank has been set up for 5 years / 100 lbs or more / 2"sand bed / mostly softies . gsp . pom pom zoos . devilshand / 2 different of hammer / and the carpet /believe me the tank isnt as bare as ive describe sump 30 gallon sump / 15 gallon refugium/ turoflotor skimmer /mag 12 return pump/ water parms cal 400 /alk10.2/ mag 1250/sal 1.025/35ppt/ temp 78.5/ ph8.3 I know you guys want a picture but stick with me IM trying to figure out this keyboard pecking first
