CARs not looking good, help!

I had a 50+ polyp frag of Candy Apple Reds, that to me, look more orange, but anyway, for the past month and a half they have not looked good.

The polyps were opening, but not fully, so they looked shriveled. Then they started getting what looks like a black fungus on them. And sometimes, they almost look to be turning inside out.

I decided to frag them into 2 frags hoping one would survive if it turned for the worse. I have also dipped them in Revive and brushed them gently with a soft toothbrush. One of the frags does look better than the other, but they still are not fully open and have looked much better in the past.

Just tested alk 8.5, Ca 390
Any suggestions?

look up zoa pox dip using furan-2 coralpedia I think has the instruction's

I know it's not zoapox but the furan-2 is a anti-fungal that should clean it right up

give it one last soft brush before doing it

sounds good! I forgot to mention that I lost my big colony of Darth Mauls to I think the same thing. All other zoas/palys are doing great.

that happened to me as well where only a few died so I just sacrifice and amputated everything that looked like it had slight fungus and treated with the furan-2 dip

a lot of times it can be something small like the season changing, temp, too much carbon/not changing carbon, large water changes, new lighting, flow, new fish additions etc

best thing imo is to always everyday give a close but fast check of every single zoa/paly

amputate and sacrifice questionable polyps

get on top of things fast
