I have a pink Hawaiian feather duster, and today I caught one of the hermits greedily ripping apart the tube and eating it. I thought they secreted the tubes out of mucus, how is that appetizing? And I'm assuming the worm itself won't be hurt, since he buried himself deep inside the tube, but the neck is pretty ratted up now, will he be able to repair it? The guilty party made a run for it under some LR, but when he's captured again, he will be sent to incarceration in the sump.
