caulerpa or not?

Is this stuff good or not? I have read both good and bad ideas about it, but no one has said one way or the other.:eek1:

Caulerpa? It depends on the species. Caulerpa is a Genus not a species and there are MANY different types. There are a million times more opinions on the stuff then there are species. One species Caulerpa Taxifolia is supposedly federally banned? The only species of macro I am currently keeping is Chaeto. Until you really do your research on algaes I would recommend you do the same or your tank could end up over run and if you don't properly dispose of it your infestation could spread to local water ways.


Just be carefull and do your reading.

http://www.sccat.net/ is the organization that is advertising heavily on website and in magazines such as Tropical fish Mag that Taxifolia is banned, but their website has been down as long as I've seen their adds.
