If you are talking about Lymphocystis, it is a viral disease, there is no cure. However, it usually goes into remission on its own. So time is the best remedy, trying to excise the lesions will only spread the viral fragments and potentially spread it to other fish.

I've had this before with my French angel and it went away on its own after several weeks. Lots of the advice I've read here and elsewhere suggest that maintaining pristine water conditions and a healthy and varied diet will go a long way in aiding the healing process.

Also, aside from looking ugly, usually lymphocystis doesn't cause any harm to the fish unless it is severe and an important part of the anatomy is affected, like the eye or mouth.

Good luck.
