It's time for some new bulbs in my 260W 4X65 CF. Right now I am running 2 12,000K bulbs and 2 actinic blue bulbs. I am thinking of switching to 2 10,000K bulbs and 2 50/50 bulbs because I am not really crazy about the blue look and would like my tank to look a little less blue. My concern is that this would have a bad effect on my corals. I just have some soft corals like mushrooms, a torch coral and some polyps. Has any one run lights like this? Would you recommend it? Any suggestions would be great!

If you don't like the blue color you can just go to 1/4 actinic though the price you may pay is your corals may lose some color but may actually grow faster. Lower kelvin promotes growth, higher promotes color.
