i cannot say that he deservid it, but what he brought up in public last night was out of line. i did not appreciate that at all.

-- it made me very disturbed, confused, and very confused. I have done enough online/meeting of people and buying items from them before i know the situation.

so is chad gone for good? can he get a new name and start over or is his computer/internet blocked?

We do not discuss the status of members who have lost posting privileges in public.

However, no ban has to be permanent, it's not our objective to remove members. Each person gets an email with information about why they were banned and how they can recover posting privileges. After that it's up to the member to work out an agreement with mods that both parties can live with.

The important thing to remember is that it's a private issue between the member and the mods. Often additional and relevent information is not available for public view.
