chaeo?

Hey Pump
I have plenty of chaeto... the stuff grows like crazy in my system... no need for cash, but if you happen to have a zoo/mushroom/whatever frag around im always trying to expand my collection....

Instead of the frag,Can I just pay for the chaeo? My son had to write an essay last night(took over 3 hrs) and I did not get a chance to get the mushroom frag.

No wories man! I needed to get in there and trim this stuff back anyway, I end up throwing about a football size wad of this stuff away every month... I would feel bad taking cash for that and bills is right on my way home from work...

amazingly I only have a 20L with a 20fuge and I dont have much bioload... I dont get what this stuff eats!

See you tonight
Eric

Ok, thats very cool of you.Maybe down the road I can hook you up with frags.I will be in a white gmc truck around 4:40 thanks.

What are you feeding your tank Eric? May just be a lot of nutrients in your water.

What type of lighting are you using? I am getting ready to grow some and it seems the lighting you are using works well for it, lol. I may pick up the same thing?

yea... my tank is still coming off that tank crash from last summer. im glad to report that i seem to be slowly winning my war on hair algea though... i dont really feed my tank at all, just half a silverside to the anemony once a week or so. i think the nutrient load in the tank is slowly going down, but its taking time...

I just use one of those clip on lights-~$10-from depot with a 65w screw in spiral compact flourecent. I also dose iron to the tank for the macros. seems to do the trick and the cheto growth continues to amaze me. I think a kicked up version that I have heard of is to get one of those lights of america fixtures-~$40- from depot. they are used as flood lamps and have a pretty good kick from what I understand. so far havent seen the need to switch over though.
