Chaeto lighting question

I am looking into getting some chaeto to put in my sump. I have a separate chamber with diverted flow for constant tumbling. I am looking for some information on a light for it as well as how long do you keep the light on for?

Any information would be great!

I use a standard 56K CFL bulb in a clip-on outlet with reflector, both readily available at any Lowes or HD.

I run mine during the night (to help with pH fluctuations) from 10pm - 6am.
