Chalice fragging?

Not sure if it's like a cookie and can be broken off in tank or does it need to be taken out of tank and cut with saw or Dremel? Mine appear to be attached to large rock(s). Both are getting over 6-8" dia.

saw is best. It can be done with dremel, cut from the underside. I would not recommend breaking it like a cookie.

You can also use a screwdriver to chip a piece off if it is encrusted but you run the risk of bruising or smashing
