I'm planning on changing out my sump and changing my return pump. The return line now is 1/2" hose and I'm going to increase it to 3/4 pvc. in order get the exact dimensions I'll have to plum it in place. I have two 1/2" bulkheads for the returns so it's going to be reduced at that tee connection. Besides allowing the proper time to cure and run some carbon what else should I do and how will this effect my corals? The tank is a heavily stocked 50 gallon with mainly sps.
