Changing Phosban Reactor Sponges

I'm ordering a Two Little Fishies Phosban Reactor and noticed that they also sell replacement sponge disks for them. I was just wondering how often you change the sponges so I know if I should order some spares and how many while I'm placing my order. I will running either Phosban or Rowaphos to help get rid of my hair algae problem.

never replaced mine.. i guess if you lose them i would order them...

I ordered an extra set, so when I go to clean it I just put the clean ones in. Then you can clean the old ones and you ready to go again. Plus if I rip one loose it , its nice to have.
