Hey all
im in the process of setting up a 180gal FO tank and my next purchase is lights, i have a old set of power compacts that im going to run atinics on and planned on buying some standard floresents for some white light. But i started thinking maybe a diy led setup well after a little research i found this maybe a bit more of a pain then its worth. Anyone done this successfully? Also thinking led rope lights like these or these might work anyone tried this? Do you think either of these would work to off set the atinics if i ran maybe 4 rows or so across the top of the tank, also think i woud get a shimmer effect off these or not. Thanks for any help and opinions
