cheapest dosing pump for KALK

looking for something that works well and is cheap
i have right now a medical one but it always goes into alarm, the kalk must clog the lines or its broke

dont know if its the best, but I use an aqualifter hooked to an ATO with limewater.

I used the old Kent gravity doser for years. Holds 5gal of kalk water and has an IV line to adjust. Hard to measure exactly what you're dosing, but it's cheap and dependable.

I would not recommend this. I tried to set up such a system, but the Aqualifter didn't pump at a consistent rate. Anything beyond the Kent Aquadose, I'd invest in a quality dosing pump like this BRS model. Anything else is just a headache IMO.

I'm not about to make a recommendation, because there are people here far more experienced than I. I will offer my experience though. The aqualifter had a tendency to slow a bit over time in its pumping capability, but if you're using it for an ATO, the ATO should be making sure the right amount gets in to the system, not the pump. Under those conditions, it worked alright. Its $20 price tag made me not mind giving it a cleaning on occasion.
