Cheato in Wet/Dry

I can put a handful of cheato in my wet/dry filter on the skimmmer side?

Several lights will do. I've had success with old flourescent lights that were no longer 'acceptable' to be over my prop tank. Also you might want to check out the light suggested by melevsreef.com It's a Powercompact flood light that screws into a normal light bulb fixture. The bulb is around $7 and the fixture can be as low as $1.

i have pne standard fluorescent light fixture (you know the fixtures sold in walmart and the ones that come w/ smaller tanks) over mine, still alive for months now
