Hi guys,

I am going to put some of this macro into my refugium. What kinds of conditions should be provided for this macro as far as lighting and hours?

Will I have to trim this algae sometimes?

not a hard algae to keep in my experience- will grow under no/vho, even a GE grow light...it grows quickly, trimming is slightly annoying as it tends to be stringy, like its unraveling- great stuff, though, compared with racemosa or grape- seems to need even less light to remain green. I keep it in a sump on a reverse lighting schedule- about 10 hours/day under a finnex 13 watt power compact.

My chaetomorpha lives in a 20L 'fuge that is lit 24/7 by two 45w PC lamps. The flow through the fuge is provided by my 900gph return pump. It grows quite fast these days.
