Check out my rock from Splash of Life!!

Thanks to Steve over at Reef Plus I found out about a Splash of Life having a livestock sale (including LR). I got one of their showpeice size marshall rocks. It was 40 pounds and cost $4.60 a pound! Tank is really cloudy due to southdown in there right now. So I will post a picture for you guys tommorow!

On a side note, before I put one of the medium/large sized peices in there I noticed an orange crab. I checked out RC and the net for awhile and found out, since it's pinchers are sharp, to not put it in my tank. It's about 1 1/2" wide. So I am going to banish it to my sump (I just can't kill anything). Because of it's size, even if it made it back to my return pump, do you think there is any way it could make it out alive through a panworld 1100gph pressure rated return pump?

I know, sorry bud. I just wanted to get a head start!! Picture tommorow I promise. I also posted just because I wanted to ask about that crab I'm putting in the sump.

They sure did have some great looking pcs. Of course this happens as I am finally pleased with the way the 220 looks from a rock stand point.

Haha, but don't worry. Atleast you have your rock and you are happy. I was out $350 at that store. Geez. . . live rock. I'm glad it happened before any livestock was in this tank. I still had time to take all the other LR out, sell some peices, keep some. Set the showpeice on the bottom, ect. . I will take a pic tommorow or the next day.

Here ya go. The one on the bottom right is the 40 pound piece. But there was another nice one and you can see it to the left of it. This is the middle section of my tank. Picture taken with flash and they look great even under flash.

Wow, how'd you lift it into the tank? You must be big & strong!
:o very carefully. :D

Just to give you guys an idea. My tank is 6' long, and that takes more than 1/4 the length of the tank. It's hard to gauge the size looking at the picture. So I thought I'd paint the picture for you. The rocks on top of it are also large sized rocks.
