Check This Out

Its listed on ebay also. I have seen these tanks around, and just not sure of the practicality. They are defiantly a conversation piece but for the cost and then fitting a light .. i dunno. Maybe a prorogation tank or qt?

heh

The light would definitely be a challenge, but I think this would make great clam tank or shallow zoa/paly garden maybe since the stand is so short. It would be visible from the top and most of the sides depending on where it is placed.

Definitely some potential...

Pets in the park in Butler has one of these in the store.

It's a fresh water, planted with some live stock in it.

(Honey, get rid of the couch, we can sit on the floor)!

that tank would be sweet if you could get some lighing the rock work would be awsome if done rite in there id love to have it defintly a sweet design

Could always build a higher stand too...that's an easy solution to the height problem. At 2' high glass, that's not short at all, if it could structurally handle that much stress, which I'd be concerned about. with the right reflectors, MH would work fine for that tank...probably 4 bulbs placed right. You'd have to get creative with your rock work...but so much the better.
