I have had this fish in qt since early october. I treated it for ich in hypo 6 weeks. The ich has since gone away but while in hypo it developed HLLE. Its face has white splotches all over and its fins are tattered. The water quality is fine and has no ammonia. I have been treating it with medicated food and lots of greens(nori and lifeline). My medicated food has been with rods,mysis,and bloodworms soaked in garlic,vita chem,selcon,beta glucan,seachems focus/metronidazole(once a day). He eats like a pig and yet I cannot get his situation to get any better.I even pulled the carbon from the filter.
I was thinking about dipping him in bifuran to hopefully help with the fins. But it says to do it in a fw dipfor a minute. I would rather do it with saltwater then put him back into qt. If I can get his fins cleared up I was thinking about putting him in the dt so he can graze and eliminate the skin missing on his face .
Any help or suggestions would be great.
