Chiller and APEX pH problems

How far does a chiller have to be from the APEX base unit and pH Probe so that you wont get any interference on the pH readings?

Thanks

What are you seeing to suspect interference? I would expect 12" or so would be good (that is how far I had to move my electronic ballasts).

Just saw a drop in pH of about .2 overnight once chiller was online. pH has been stable fro past 5 months. And I could not figure ou what else it could be, unless bringing my TEMP down to 81.5 from 84 could have caused a change in pH!

Try this; if you turn off the chiller does the PH change? When the chiller is running (or not) is there any change? If not then I suspect the PH reading is just fine.

No changes with chiller off or on. I think that lowering the Temp of the tank from 84 to 81.5 just caused the pH to lower as well.

It has since stabilized at around 8.2

Thanks,
