chiller for sale?

Is buying a Chiller really all that cheaper in the long run than just lowering the A/C? I'm looking at getting one for my 90 and probably hooking the one up for my 120, I kinda just screwed with amperage and did my best to figure KW rating if the things ran full time and I basically came to like 7.5 a month more just to run the chillers, but then I have to figure that they put out heat into the room which will inevitably make the room hotter causing the AC to run more, I suppose it wouldn't be a big deal if you are only running one chiller or in a remote room or something but I have like 4 tanks in the living room and would be running 3 chillers with well over 2000 watts of combined lighting... jesus I need to stop with all these tanks, and I'm not sure that just dropping the temp in the house 2 degrees wouldn't be a better idea.

If you are able to drop your AC to a comfortanble temp, 74 ~ 75 ish and get your tank temps down to a temp you could live with (79 ~ 81), then why bother with a chiller?

I'm running (3) 400 watt metal halides plus vHos over a 210 g and there's no way in hell my AC could keep up with the heat load being dumped into my tank. I want my tank at 79 degrees. Without a chiller the temp would sail over 85 degrees in no time.

and the Wife will put a parka on when the house temp drops to 75... it's a chiller for me :)

guess im just lucky i keep my house at 73 and i have three 400 watt m/h's and 2 vho's over a 220 and my temp has never climbed over 81 degrees. i have three 5 inch fans in my canopy.
