chiller placement for 200 gal tank

Hi all, I've got a 200 gallon acrylic tank, 55 gallon sump, and 37 gallon refugium. It will be an inwall tank with everything below main tank and backing up to a spare bathroom. My question is: should the chiller pump be placed in the sump, and then cold water would be pumped back to the sump. aka sump~chiller~sump or, Should I put two bulkheads in the back of display tank, and pump directly from tank~chiller~tank. Please help and tanks in advance

Mine will be setup drawing from the sump intake (from the tank), and exiting at the sump return (to the tank). OR, you can run your return water thru the chiller and directly into the tank (as I do now). Either way will work, it's up to you.

trying to figure if I should buy two more bulkheads (any always risk a leak) or be safe an put pump in sump. I also wonder if there is any cold temp loss from being in sump?

I would think the less bulkheads, the less places for leaks. As far as temp loss from in sump, it is part of the total water volume so it really does not matter. For pump, go with an external, as an internal will heat your water and your chiller will run more often.

that was eazy, you've convinced me not to do bulkheads. This will actually make it eazier for me because tank should be up and running before next summers heat wave, and can add chiller later. thanks
