chilli coral tips

Looking for a tip here, I picked up a chilli coral from a friends tank that isn't opening at all. Its been in my tank for over a month and still won't open with all my feeding I do. My other chilli is open and all parameters are in line. It just stays tightly closed. No rot that I can see but no polyps open that I've seen.

Any tricks?

apart from stimulating it with several food, it verifies that it has the sufficient flow

Now you just got to leave it alone then. Moving it is stressing it. I don't what else you can do.

+1, but I had mine not doing so good till I mount it to hang down. Now it is doing much better.
