Chinese Bubble Tip Rose?

I have an established reef tank that has spots of excellent flow and lighting that would be great for a nice bubble tip, and a LFS has chinese bubble tip roses about the size of a baseball for $35, a good price. But whats stopping me is im terrified of finding my blastos or acans stung by a wandering rose.
I heard that chinese roses dont move hardly at all, but im skeptical. Id love any kind of feedback regarding chinese roses and whether or not they'll plow through an LPS colony.

Do you have a picture of a chinese rose? Do they look different than a normal one?

RBTA, GBTA and the such are all the same species and will have the same behavior. Now, you can keep anemones in a reef no problem you have to just plan to give them some room as they can get pretty big.

With rose anemones, just isolate a small patch of rocks to give the anemones their own little island. Surround the small rock island with sand and the anemone will only wander around the rocks. My experience with BTA is that they don't wander across the sand.

thanks for the tips man, i guess im gunna have to keep to what ive got... i dont think i have any room for that kind of thing, my sand bed is kinda at a premium.

oh, and zaraemna, they only look different in that the develope these transparent stripes through their tentacles because the chinese force them to split in order to mass produce them. other than that they look exactly alike. Indos are just more solid and dont develope any kind of striping

I've never heard of cut anemones developing transparent stripes in the tentacles. I hope you buy one so I can see a picture of it I think the best way to keep a bubble tip from moving around in the tank is to have a rock that has a hole it can put it's foot in that is the highest point. They don't usally climb down the rocks once they are acclimated to the light. But, I guess you never know what will happen.

mine don't move around the tank .it hides behind the same rock.
