Chocolate Tang Color Change

How long does it take on average for a Chocolate Tang to Finish its color change? The fins on mine are darkening along with its face and around the gills but I have no idea if I should really watch so I don't miss anything or if I can sit back because it will be yellow until 2020.

I do not know how old mine is but it is at about 4 inches
