Chromebook and ESL

My MacBook is dying and I am looking for a cheaper method for controlling my Radions.
Anyone use a Chromebook?

Do you use the Connection Manager? If so, the Connection Manager should run just fine as long as you have a USB port and have the appropriate Java JRE installed.

Another option is to purchase a ReefLink, then you can stop using the Connection Manager and USB connection. Might be a good option because then you don't have to be as concerned with the compatibility of the computer.

I guess part of my problem is getting Java to run on a Chromebook

I ended up buying a used laptop at a local computer store and with Matts help on the phone I have everything the way I want it.
