Up close to the spiral. Six-image stack.

great picture. how do you stack the images together? and how do you take six images with the coral not moving, do you turn off the flow or is there some kind of function on your camera?

Most likely using Helicon Focus or similar software. Helicon Focus is a program that creates one completely focused image from several partially focused images by combining the focused areas.

Yes, have to turn off the flow and I do use Helicon Focus to combine the images. Just takes patience and practice.

Thanks, Don. Chili coral is expanding more since we got it under a ledge and hanging horizontal and angled down. I think it's gaining strength.
