Clam Emergency Please Read

I bought a Deresa clam about 4 days ago. He was open and beautiful and loving all the phyto. I looked at him today and he was open but all sucked back inside, he looked like he was disinagratign away. There are no hermit crabs around him and no fish or anything else that would eat him.

When I bought him, I aclimated him very well. I do not understand what is happening. Will he survive and make a come back? Please respond to this, I need help.

Really hard to say. Pull it out and give it the sniff test. You'll know right away if it's dying. Good luck.
